At TCT Sports, our focus is to build elite players. We are a program built of baseball and softball enthusiasts who have been involved in the game for years. We have played, coached, and followed the game at all levels, from Little League to the Major Leagues.
Tri-County Tritons was formed in the Summer of 2015 by Tim Raposa. Since the organization has started, we have placed a high percentage of graduating seniors into the world of college baseball. There have been D1, D2, D3, NAIA and junior college commitments since the inception of the program.
Tri-County Tritons and The Lady Triton programs are surrounded by quality baseball/softball minds, who all have played at a high level and/or coached at a higher level. Not only great minded baseball/softball minds but better people. The focus of our TCT program is to get our players to understand what it takes to be a great ball player. We are molding our next generation and will expect our players to be responsible, respectful, held accountable and to work hard for the things they want.
We expect our coaches to pour knowledge into our athletes. All coaches have played or coached at elite levels and we expect them to coach and teach our players in the same manner. The end goal is to boost their game IQ and teach the player to use their individual talents, teaching them to sync together, play together and win together. We fall in line with more of a tough love kind of coaching. We will push the limits of each player. We will hold them to high standards and will expect nothing less. We will push them to BE BETTER and we will not stop until we see them playing at their elite level goals.
We expect each player to have the want to BE BETTER. We expect our players to always challenge themselves to think better, do better and be better. Even if we win a Sunday championship, we expect the grind to still continue come Monday. Each player is expected to put in their own individual work outside of team practice. Individual practice may consist of pitching practice, hitting practice, catching or fielding. As a Triton, we expect each player to BE BETTER. Players need to have the individual hard work ethic, constantly working on their individual skills and in turn, bringing their best self to practices and tournaments.
Just as we expect a lot from our coaches and players, we expect the same from our Triton parents. As a Triton parent, we expect you to push your child to be better as well. Encouraging them to put in the work at home. Hold them to high standards with their chores, schoolwork and manners. On the field, we expect parents to be a parent. Let the coaches coach, let the players do what they do best and as parent; watch, encourage and cheer on your player. We expect parents to be respectful, encouraging and to be there, not only for your own players, but for all of the team. Once you are a Triton, you are a part of the Triton Family. In this family, we show respect, we lead by example, and we always strive to BE BETTER!
